Country Classics, and Sunday Gospel Music Shows

John and Ruby play the great Country Classics on Mayberry, and features comedy from “Zero,” one of John’s own hilarious characters. He also mimics, in his character bits, the word stylings of an American Original, the late Cas Walker. Knoxville, Tennessee’s most famous home town grocer who hosted live local TV morning shows there for many years and is among the first to put performers like Dolly Parton on television, giving her that launch pad on her way to her current superstardom!

The Hitch’s back yard in Knoxville, TN features a real “mini-Mayberry.” These are actual re-creations of some of the buildings from the set of the Andy Griffith TV show that are filled with antiques and other classic memorabilia. Sheriff Andy Taylor’s Office, and the Mayberry Jail, Emmett’s Fix-It Shop, The Bluebird Diner, Wally’s Service Station, Floyd’s Barber Shop and Radio Station “MBRY”

You can arrange to visit the “East Tennessee Music Museum” on the grounds as well.
